Description

A reversible speed-sensor wheel for bikes running the Avinox M1 drive unit. It changes the speed signal the motor reads, and it comes back off in minutes with a hex key — nothing is cut, flashed or permanently altered.

Avinox M1 only. This does not work with the Avinox M2 or M2S. Those are a different motor generation, launched April 2026. Check your model year before ordering — the same bike can be M1 one year and M2S the next.

Before you buy

Can I undo it before a service visit? Yes. It's a mechanical swap — remove the wheel, refit the original sensor, and the bike is back to stock.

Does it leave a trace? No firmware is modified. The original sensor is untouched and can be refitted at any time.

Where can I ride with it? Intended for private land, closed courses and off-road use. In the EU, a bike whose assistance continues past the 25 km/h limit is generally no longer classed as a pedelec for public-road purposes, which affects registration, insurance and manufacturer warranty. Check the rules that apply where you ride before fitting it.
